Knights is an independent events organisation creating theatre, comedy, workshops and community events in Mumbles and beyond.
The story
How Knights began
Knights started life putting on events at Sutton Community Hall — and discovering, night after night, how much appetite there is for brilliant things happening locally.
Drama Knights, our children’s drama programme, grew fastest of all. Watching children walk into a room shy and walk out ten feet tall gave the whole organisation its name and its motto: armoured in confidence.
Today Knights makes events for children, adults and the whole community — from after-school clubs and holiday camps to comedy nights, live music and free events in the park.
Independent, and proudly so
Knights is an independent organisation. We work in partnership with venues — including Sutton Community Hall and 1st Mumbles — but we don’t own or run them.
That independence keeps us free to make events wherever they’ll do the most good: halls, schools, parks and anywhere else with room for a stage and an audience.
